LEGO itself proposed to create a game in the Horizon universe, but did not expect the idea to be supported
LEGO Horizon Adventures will be released on 14 November on PC, PlayStation 5, and Switch. However, it has become known that the idea to create the game was not invented by Sony but by LEGO itself.
Here's What We Know
In 2022, LEGO, together with Sony, released a construction set with Tallneck, one of the game's robots.
Then LEGO approached the Guerrilla studio, which makes Horizon games, and offered to make a LEGO game. The company expected that the developers would just say it was cool and forget about the idea. However, the studio supported the project and the development of Horizon Adventures began.
As a reminder, journalists have played the preview version of the game and note that it successfully combines LEGO's characteristic humour with an easy-to-understand plot. Players will be able to explore a colourful world, fight mechanical creatures and complete various tasks, both basic and additional.
In addition to weapons, we will have not only the bow that we are used to seeing in the Horizon series, but also something unusual, like explosive hot dogs.
And like other LEGO projects, it's much more fun to play the game in co-op, so to make these cool autumn evenings more fun, the game is worth paying attention to, and its difficulty is suitable even for those who have never actually played games.
