Google plans to release Gemini 2.0 by the end of the year

Google is preparing to launch an updated version 2.0 of Gemini artificial intelligence, which may be released in December 2024.

Here's What We Know

After the launch of Gemini 1.0 in December 2023, Google has been actively integrating this tool into its products: Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 smartphones, Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones, Gmail, and the Galaxy S24 series.

Currently, Google is developing Gemini 1.5 Pro and offers users new features and tariff plans for this platform.

The most advanced version, Gemini Advanced, already offers the Gemini Live feature, which is still limited to conversations with users. However, with the release of Gemini 2.0, we can expect to see the expansion of this option.

According to The Verge, Google plans to announce Gemini 2.0 in December, although the exact date is not yet known. The company does not disclose what new features will appear in Gemini 2.0, keeping the intrigue about the update.
