Star Wars Outlaws, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and the iconic 1980 game are up for a Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack

The 67th Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on 2 February 2025.

For the third time, the best video game soundtracks are nominated in a separate Grammy category.

Here's What We Know

The US National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has published a list of nominees, among which five video games are represented, of which only one is from 2024 - Star Wars Outlaws.

We'll mention Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord separately. Released in 1980 on the Apple II, it was one of the first Dungeons & Dragons-style RPGs and the first to offer colour graphics. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord ranks among the best video games of all time.

  • God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla - Bear McCreary.
  • Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - John Paesano.
  • Star Wars Outlaws - Wilbert Roget, II.
  • Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord - Winifred Phillips.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor won a Grammy Award in the Best Game Soundtrack category went to composers Stephen Barton and Gordy Haab for the music for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
