Dongfeng Nissan unveiled the N7: the first electric sedan on a new platform

Dongfeng Nissan today unveiled the N7 electric sedan at the Auto Guangzhou auto show, which will be available in China in the first half of 2025.

It is the first model on Dongfeng Nissan's new modular architecture designed specifically for electric vehicles. The car is claimed to be designed to "provide comfort, carefree driving and utilise smart technology".

Here's What We Know

The N7 sedan is the production version of the Nissan Epoch concept shown at the Beijing Motor Show in April. The design is based on Nissan's signature V-Motion styling with a combination of flowing lines and a futuristic look. Dimensions: length - 4,930 mm, width - 1,895 mm, height - 1,487 mm, wheelbase - 2,915 mm, which promises a spacious interior.

The Dongfeng Nissan N7 multimedia and entertainment system is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor, which should ensure smooth operation of all smart features. The car will also be equipped with the 'Navigate on Autopilot' automated driving system, co-developed with Chinese company Momenta.

The N7 will be the first all-electric model in China, introduced as part of Nissan's strategy called The Arc. The plan includes the development and export of new energy-efficient vehicles from China.

More detailed model specifications and pricing are promised to be announced closer to the sales launch in 2025.
