Space horror and personal drama: story trailer for VR game Alien: Rogue Incursion unveiled
Survivors, the studio that VR game fans know from The Walking Dead Onslaught, has unveiled a story trailer for the ambitious VR horror game Alien: Rogue Incursion.
Here's What We Know
The developers reminded that the main character of the game will be Zula Hendricks, who once served in the Marines and is ready to give a decisive response to xenomorphs.
The girl receives a distress call from her partner Benjamin Carver and goes to the remote planet LV-354, where xenomorphs are rampant.
Zula and her mate intend to investigate and make sense of the events, but she will have to face deeply personal problems as well.
The developers of Alien: Rogue Incursion try to immerse the player into the dark atmosphere of the game from the first seconds and for this purpose they use the exciting backstory.
The first act of the trailer poses many questions for Zula and the audience to answer. The second act of our story trailer is dedicated to unravelling these and showing Dawn Terror. We see the facility from the inside and hear the voices of the people who work there. We weave in classic series themes such as corporate corruption, personal greed and professional hubris that create the perfect conditions for a xenomorph outbreak.
When We Can Expect It
Alien: Rogue Incursion will release on 19 December 2024. The horror game is being built on Unreal Engine 5 and will be available on PlayStation VR2, SteamVR and Meta Quest 3 headsets.
