Star Wars anime is back: the third season of Visions anthology is announced

Star Wars: Visions is an anthology of animated shorts created by various studios from around the world that present unique interpretations of the Star Wars universe. And Lucasfilm has announced the 3rd season of this project.

Here's What We Know

The peculiarity of Visions is that each episode offers a new perspective on the familiar lore through the prism of different styles, cultures, and artistic approaches. Visions is also distinguished by the fact that it departs from the canon, allowing artists to experiment with plots and characters, so the studios working on the series have complete freedom.

The third season, like the first one, will be in anime style and will be created by anime studios including Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co, Production I.G., TRIGGER and others.

When We Can Expect It

The third season of Star Wars: Visions is scheduled for 2025.
