Philips Hue releases update for Secure cameras with motion detection and video upload improvements
Philips Hue has released a new update for Hue Secure cameras, version 1.2.26, which contains six improvements for the smart home.
Here's What We Know
The update, which was released on 18 November, improved motion detection accuracy by reducing the number of accidental triggers caused by lighting. It also optimised the video upload process and improved the stability of the Bluetooth connection.
In addition, the Hue Secure Battery, which is available for $139.99 on Amazon, is now less likely to reboot when disconnected from the internet or when the speaker is activated. The function of the Settings button has been enhanced, although details remain unknown.
The next update is expected to include improved integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, but the exact release date has not yet been announced.
