Bang & Olufsen has introduced Beoplay Eleven: wireless headphones with advanced active noise cancelling technology and replaceable batteries

Bang Olufsen has announced the launch of its new Beoplay Eleven wireless headphones, which will be the first in the range with replaceable batteries. This innovation is in line with EU sustainability rules coming into force in 2027.

Here's What We Know

The Beoplay Eleven are IP57 dust and water resistant, allowing them to withstand immersion up to one metre deep, and provide double noise reduction at low frequencies. The headphones work better on a variety of ear shapes and sizes while maintaining the same 9.2mm drivers as the EX model.

The Beoplay Eleven features six upgraded microphones for improved voice call quality and active noise cancellation. Battery life is up to six hours with noise cancellation enabled and up to eight hours without. With a charging case that supports USB-C and Qi wireless charging, battery life increases to 20 and 28 hours respectively.

While the battery can be replaced, this will require a trip to a service centre, making the process less convenient than the competition. The headphones are available at Bang Olufsen branded shops in a natural aluminium colour, priced at €499. The copper-coated version will go on sale on 17 December.
