One popular wisdom says that it is better to never deal with Nintendo's lawyers. Now the company is trying to find out the pirates' data through the court.
Here's What We Know
In autumn, it was already known that the company was able to identify the "pirate" James "Archbox" Williams. The company filed a lawsuit against Williams over piracy allegations.
But after that, Nintendo became aware of other pirates who illegally distribute the company's products.
And now Nintendo wants to obtain a court order to obtain business documents from Name Cheap, Go Daddy, and Tucows, as well as Cloudflare, Github, Discord, Google, and Reddit, to identify Williams' alleged accomplices and file a copyright infringement lawsuit.
So never pirate or distribute illegal Nintendo content.
