Philips Hue, a leading smart lighting manufacturer, has released an update to its app that allows users to link multiple Hue bridges into one home system.

Here's What We Know

Previously, each bridge was managed separately, which was inconvenient for homes with multiple hubs. Now, as of version 5.31, users can control all of their Hue lights from a single "Home" in the app, regardless of which bridge they are connected to.

To activate this feature, users must update the app to the latest version and follow the instructions in the settings menu. The new feature makes it much easier to control lighting in large homes or on multiple floors. However, for now, full integration with Amazon Alexa and controlling lights on one bridge using switches and sensors from another bridge are not supported. Philips plans to address these limitations in future updates, making lighting control even more convenient and functional.
