After the success of the remake, the Silent Hill 2 team has already started its next project: Bloober Team develops 2 games simultaneously

Bloober Team became a well-known studio after the release of Silent Hill 2 remake in October 2024. What is the team doing now?

Here's What We Know

It is already known that part of Bloober is working on Cronos: The New Dawn, a third-person sci-fi survival horror game about time travel. At the same time, the team responsible for Silent Hill 2 has started working on a completely different project.

So now the studio is developing two games at the same time. There are no details yet on what exactly the Silent Hill 2 team is doing (possibly another game in the series), but it's currently in pre-production.

The Cronos: The New Dawn team has progressed much further, as the game is due to be released in 2025.

The only thing we know for sure is that the team of sound engineers that worked on the Silent Hill 2 remake has moved to Cronos. So you don't have to worry about the soundtrack in Cronos.
