Simply upload a video and YouTube will automatically detect the language and add dubbed audio tracks in several languages. At the start, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish are available. The idea is simple: make videos available to viewers around the world.
This feature is especially useful for educational channels, such as cooking or crafts.
YouTube is already testing the possibilities for wider application, and in the future, it plans to add new options that will be able to reproduce the emotions and tone of voice of the speaker. Of course, at the initial stage, the technology is not without drawbacks, but the company is working on improvements.
