Adobe has presented an experimental tool for removing window reflections from photos.

Here's What We Know

This feature was originally announced at Adobe Max 2023 as "Project See Through". It is currently available for preview in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge for Creative Cloud subscribers. Support for Adobe Lightroom is coming soon.

This tool uses artificial intelligence that can isolate two separate images: the reflection and what's on the other side of a window or other reflective surface. However, it works best when the reflection covers the entire image area. If the reflection is small or far away, the tool may not work as well.

How To Switch It On

To try the new feature, you need to enable the New AI Settings and Features Panel in Camera RAW settings and then upload a photo for editing.
