The developer of the popular medieval strategy game Manor Lords Grzegorz Styczeń, as promised, has launched beta-testing of the next major update in Steam.

Here's What We Know

Everyone can already test the 0.8.017 patch and inform the developer about their impressions and detected problems, so that he can promptly fix them by the full release of the update.

To avoid problems, before installing the pre-release version it is worth making a backup copy of saves and disable all custom modifications.

The game designer has provided a lot of interesting and significant innovations, and the main ones will be two new maps - High Peaks and Winding River, as well as a full-fledged map selection system.

In Manor Lords the mechanics of road building has been expanded and it is now possible to build bridges across rivers.

The developer will change the visualisation of mines and mines. Now miners will really go down underground and rise with the load.

In addition, in Manor Lords will be introduced a system of overconsumption. Thus, workers will start to place resources in excess in warehouses if they know that they may soon be in short supply, and in taverns the owners will buy ale in advance so that it does not run out at the most inopportune moment.

Wells will also be changed: a stone well will now provide water for 30 plots.

The patch includes many changes, including technical improvements. Their full list can be found on the game's Steam page.

The strategy is available in Early Access on Steam, EGS, GOG and PC Game Pass.
