Garmin has released beta update 27.76 for the Fenix 6 and Marq smartwatches. This update fixes a bug that occurred when saving Track workouts.

Here's What We Know

For some users, the watch would turn off when they tried to save the activity data. However, the bug did not affect other types of workouts, so Garmin focused on fixing this issue. The 27.76 update is part of the 27.xx testing, which was released a few weeks after the previous 27.74 beta.

The changes are minor but important for users who use the Track feature to track their workouts.

It is worth noting that this release is only available to a certain number of users who are part of the beta programme and will not be available to all users. Previous beta releases of 27.xx also included bug fixes related to routes, slow loading of notifications, and issues with the tone of the altitude alert.

How To Switch It On

To update the smartwatch to version 27.76, users need to go to the menu: "Menu", "System", "Software update", "Check for updates". It is not known when the stable version of this update will be available to all Fenix 6 and Fenix 6 Pro users. Users who want to participate in the testing can join the beta programme through Garmin Connect.

This update is a continuation of Garmin's efforts to fix bugs on its devices, and given the previous fixes, further improvements can be expected in future updates.
