Google Calendar, the popular app for organising meetings and events, may soon receive an interface update.

Here's What We Know

Currently, to add a new event to a particular calendar, users have to click on the list of available calendars to select the one they want. However, according to APK parsing of the latest updates, Google is working on changes that can greatly simplify this process.

In the new version of Google Calendar for Android, which has been explored by developers, it is now possible to display all available calendars in a horizontal row right on the event creation screen. This will allow users to instantly select a calendar for an event without going to additional menus. If a user has several accounts, they will still need to select the desired account to switch between calendars, but the process of selecting a calendar will be much faster and more convenient.

This approach can be very useful for those who use several calendars at the same time, for example, for work, family or friends. Instead of switching between numerous windows, users will be able to quickly add events to the calendars they need, which will save time and reduce the number of actions. This will be especially convenient for those who plan several events at the same time or organise events related to different aspects of their lives, such as work and leisure.

These changes are part of the development of the new version of the app, and although they have not yet become official, they may appear in the future. Google is currently testing this functionality and it is possible that it will undergo additional changes or improvements.
