13 minutes of gameplay of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii - Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios has revealed interesting details about the new game
Ryu Ga Gotoku studio has held an extensive gameplay demonstration of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and revealed some interesting details about the game.
Here's What We Know
Recall, the main character of the new Yakuza spin-off will be the iconic Goro Majima, who after the events of the previous parts of the series lost his memory and as a pirate gets into a lot of adventures in Hawaii. It is noteworthy that the events of the game unfold in the present day, but the style and atmosphere echo elements of the XV-XVI centuries (sailing ships, characteristic costumes, fights with cold weapons).
RGG Like a Dragon Direct broadcast showed 13 minutes of gameplay of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The developers paid a lot of attention to the updated combat system, which has more options. Goro Majima can use two fighting styles - "Mad Dog" and "Pirate" and perform long combinations of blows.
As for naval battles, there is tactical depth and ample opportunity for manoeuvres. Players will be able to improve the ship at their discretion and change its appearance, buy new guns, and enemy ships can not only be shelled, but also boarded.
Players will have to take care of the ship's crew and select a team from several hundred candidates. Fans of the series will be pleased to know that the pre-order bonus of Ichiban Kasuga as a crew member is offered, while the Deluxe edition will give gamers the opportunity to purchase the franchise's iconic characters Kazuma Kiryu and Dojima Daigo.
As with all Like a Dragon/ Yakuza instalments, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will feature a huge amount of mini-games and, of course, karaoke.
When We Can Expect It
