Most PC gamers have a negative attitude towards the fact that new games that Sony publishes require an account to be linked to the PlayStation Network service. Besides adding another unnecessary application, this decision makes the games unavailable in almost two hundred countries and regions.

Sony recently announced that the same condition would be in the long-awaited indie action game Lost Soul Aside from Chinese studio Ultizero Games, but it seems that the Japanese have reconsidered their decision.

Here's What We Know

Attentive gamers have discovered that the mention of PSN has disappeared from the Lost Soul Aside page on Steam.

Officially, neither Sony nor the developers have not announced the cancellation of the need to be bound to the service, but the fact remains that it is now gone.

Thus, the game, whose design is inspired by Final Fantasy XV and whose combat system is similar to Devil May Cry, will be freely available in countries where it would have been impossible with PSN.

When We Can Expect It

No release date has been given for Lost Soul Aside yet, the action game is expected to release in 2025 on PC and PS5.
