Indie developer Motion Blur shared new gameplay footage of its upcoming game Black Slate during CES 2025:

Here's What We Know

The footage provides a glimpse into the gameplay of Black Slate, which is based on third-person shooting mechanics with a strong emphasis on cover combat. Players will face a variety of enemies, ranging from ordinary soldiers to telekinetic demons. Players have a variety of weapons at their disposal, including an assault rifle and a unique electrically powered pistol.

Players take on the role of a military "legend" on a mission to uncover the truth about a catastrophic event by rescuing a scientist associated with it. In addition to Metal Gear Solid, the developers refer to The Last of Us and Uncharted as sources of inspiration for the game mechanics.

Where To Play

Black Slate will be available on PC after its release.
