Relic Entertainment studio is known for its complex strategy games. The main franchises of this developer are Company of Heroes, dedicated to World War II, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, which once turned the idea of what video games in the Warhammer universe could be.

Recent years have been difficult for Relic, and recently the studio split from Sega and became independent again. It was repeatedly reported on the web that it was the Japanese company that prevented the team from returning to Dawn of War, and it seems that after the separation Relic will finally realise its dream.

Here's What We Know

Information is circulating online that Relic has started development on a full-fledged new instalment of the series and the game will probably be called Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4.

Some Reddit users claim to have received the first information about Dawn of War 4. It is claimed that the game will feature 5 game modes, 4 factions, 150 units, 12 heroes and extensive army customisation options.

The proof is a gallery of six pictures, which seem quite authentic and do not look fake.

Popular blogger Valrak is sure that DoW 4 is indeed in production and feels very excited about it.

Recall that all the information is rumours and does not allow us to unequivocally state that Relic Entertainment is indeed developing a sequel to the cult strategy, especially since the third part was a complete failure and disappointed the public.
