Croatian indie studio Overseer Games is finalising the ambitious city-building strategy game Kaiserpunk in an alternate World War I setting. Earlier the developers abandoned the idea of releasing the game in Steam Early Access and promised the release of the full version of Kaiserpunk on 27 February 2025, but it didn't happen and now Overseer has revealed the final release date.

Here's What We Know

The authors said that Kaiserpunk will be released on 21 March only on PC and the game will cost $30.

The developers noted that Kaiserpunk aroused great interest of gamers and more than 160 thousand times hit the "Wish List".

It is noteworthy that the publisher of the strategy will be Elda Entertainment company, founded by the veterans of the famous Swedish publisher Paradox Interactive, and Kaiserpunk will be the first released game for it.

Kaiserpunk embodies everything we love about the genre: deep mechanics, creativity and a world that responds to the player's decisions, allowing them to shape the story in their own way. We couldn't have dreamed of a better game and developer to launch.

Flashback

The events of Kaiserpunk will unfold in the early 20th century, where the First World War has not ended, but has been given an alternative development.

Kaiserpunk gameplay is focused on building a city-state and competent management of all production processes and effective repulsion of enemy attacks on the ground, in the air and at sea.

The game provides a huge amount of details that will not be obvious at the first acquaintance with Kaiserpunk. Production chains are influenced by more than a hundred different factors, and the city's resources depend on the decisions made and facilities built. Logistics should be treated with the utmost care, and not only local, but also global.
