The favourite Team Deathmatch mode will return to the free-to-play shooter THE FINALS on a permanent basis in season 6

The developers of THE FINALS have announced that Team Deathmatch (TDM) will become a permanent part of the game with the start of the sixth season, which begins on 20 March 2025. This decision was made after numerous requests from players who highly appreciated this mode during its temporary availability in the fifth season.
Here's What We Know
TDM is a dynamic 5v5 mode where teams compete for the maximum number of kills. In addition to intense gunfights, players can use the proprietary mechanics of destroying the environment, which adds unpredictability to the gameplay.
To add variety and increase interest in TDM, the developers have added several new arenas:
- Fortune Stadium
- Seoul
- SYS$HORIZON
- Las Vegas
- Kyoto
- Skyway Stadium
Players are very excited about this event, so the best thing that online shooter developers can do is to listen to the wishes of the community. And then there will be a positive result.

THE FINALS is a free-to-play first-person shooter on PC and consoles developed by Embark Studios. The game offers dynamic battles in a team tournament format where players compete for cash prizes in a virtual show. A unique feature is the fully destructible environment: buildings can be blown up, bridges can be destroyed, and walls can be pierced, which creates many tactical opportunities. THE FINALS offers different character classes with their own equipment and playstyle.
