Lego Group and Pokemon Company have announced a collaboration that will see them release a joint line of constructors.

Here's What We Know

The companies have released a short teaser in which Pokemon fans can easily recognise Pikachu's tail - it's likely that this character will receive the first Lego personalised set, but it's claimed that he won't be the only one.

The press release says the following:

Electrify your imagination and get ready to build something completely unique out of Lego cubes!

For the first time ever, the Lego Group will bring everyone's favourite Pokemons to life in a whole new way, providing a playful experience that fans of the franchise will love.

The first Lego Pokemon set will be released in 2026.

Flashback

This isn't the first LEGO and Nintendo collaboration, as a reminder, sets dedicated to Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing were previously released. And recently announced Mario fans will not pass by: Lego has announced a Mario Kart set: Mario & Standard Kart with 1972 pieces, which will go on sale on 15 May.
