Towerborne developers have announced Class Mastery Update, which will add support for cross-play and a bunch of other innovations

With Towerborne's official release just a few weeks away, developer Stoic is actively working on a major update - the Class Mastery Update - that will bring improvements to the progression system, skill system, and more. The game will also support full cross-play and shared progress between all platforms.
Here's What We Know
The main focus of the update is an improved character development system. By completing missions, players will receive skill points that can be spent on Focus Skills and new class mechanics. These abilities can be changed at any time, which opens up more opportunities for creating unique builds. The world map has also been redesigned, making the storyline more logical and coherent.
Players can expect more than 50 new carefully crafted missions, changes in the location of bosses, two new Umbra, a new enemy (Merk Brawler), fresh legendary items, an improved Aspect system, an expanded selection of professions, and much more. In addition, it will finally be possible to reassign controls.
The Class Mastery update will be available on 29 April alongside the release of the console version.
Where To Play
Towerborne will be available on Xbox Series and Windows. The game will also be included in the Game Pass catalogue immediately after release.
