Microsoft has started selling the Xbox Adaptive Joystick controller designed for gamers with disabilities.

Here's What We Know

Playing will get easier: Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Adaptive Joystick, a device compatible with Xbox, PC, Android and iOS, for people with disabilities and finally everyone is able to purchase it.

The Xbox Adaptive Joystick works in tandem with the Xbox Adaptive Controller and allows people with physical features to use Xbox consoles, PCs and even iOS and Android mobile devices.

The Adaptive Joystick is an oversized stick that is adjustable in size, and it connects to the Adaptive Controller via a USB-C cable.

The device can be attached to the armrest of a chair or other surface and rotates freely 360 degrees. The buttons are customisable in detail via the Xbox Accessories app. The device can also be paired with a standard Xbox gamepad.

If necessary, you can print modules on a 3D printer and add them to the set of controls offered by the manufacturer.

Xbox Adaptive Joystick does not support vibration.

Microsoft says that there are 429 million players with disabilities in the world and the company wants to help each of them enjoy games.

The affordability of the Xbox Adaptive Joystick is nothing short of amazing - it's priced at just $30.
