CD Projekt RED continues to develop the Cyberpunk 2077 franchise and has found an unexpected and potentially interesting solution for this.

The Polish company together with LAI Games presented Cyberpunk 2077: Turf Wars arcade game.
This game refers to the entertainment halls that were most popular in the 80s and 90s, but also now occupy a special niche.
Here's how the authors describe the new attraction based on a franchise that has already become iconic:
Cyberpunk 2077: Turf Wars combines the iconic world of Cyberpunk 2077 with innovative arcade gameplay to deliver an unforgettable experience. Featuring image projection technology, the game seamlessly blends vibrant video effects with physical targets to create an immersive battlefield where players engage in explosive and energetic combat. A patented explosive shooting effect enhances the action with dazzling, colourful explosions that illuminate the battlefield, while enhanced haptic feedback and a pulsating soundtrack heighten the sensory excitement.
The controller takes the form of a heavy machine gun, which the player must quickly aim and shoot accurately. The developers will offer three modes: story, co-op/competitive and sniper.
Of course, such a game will not replace Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, but it will be a good entertainment.
It is not yet known when and where Cyberpunk 2077: Turf Wars will appear.
