Verdansk returns to Call of Duty: Warzone on April 3 - Activision announces exact time

After more than three years of waiting, Verdansk is finally returning to Call of Duty: Warzone. An updated version of the legendary map will be available on 3 April at 10:00 EEC, and this move could be key for Activision in its attempt to win back players. The removal of Verdansk in December 2021 caused a wave of discontent, and its return is already being actively discussed in the community.

Here's What We Know
An updated tactical map of Verdansk was published on the game's official social media pages, which confirms that most of the iconic locations have remained unchanged. Players will again be able to land at the Dam, Military Base, Airport, TV Station, Supermarket, Stadium, Prison, and other classic locations. The general layout of the map has been retained, allowing Warzone veterans to easily get back into the rhythm of the game.
At the same time, attentive players have noticed several significant changes. One of the most notable innovations was the introduction of water bodies in the form of rivers, which was not present in the original 2020 version. In addition, the railway has reappeared on the map, which may mean the return of the train, one of the most interesting elements of Warzone gameplay.
Another interesting detail may be the return of the classic weapon that once defined the purpose of the game. Warzone has gone through a lot of balance changes, and if Activision decides to revive the old popular guns, it could be an important factor in bringing players back in droves.
