Vietnam presents its own fibre-optic FPV drones

The Z131 plant, which is part of the General Department of Defence Industry of Vietnam, has handed over FPV drones with a fibre-optic control system to the military for testing.
Here's What We Know
The drones use a cable unwinding technology similar to that used in Ukrainian and Russian developments. To reduce the cost of production, the drones are assembled from off-the-shelf components.
In addition to FPV drones, the plant produces locally developed attack drones BXL.01 and QXL.01. BXL.01 has an X-shaped wing, a maximum take-off weight of 10 kg, a flight altitude of up to 1000 m and a speed of up to 120 km/h, but its range is limited to 10 km. The QXL.01 is a copter drone that can fly at a speed of 60-80 km/h at an altitude of 150-500 m.

Both drones are equipped with a 1.2kg warhead capable of penetrating up to 250mm of steel armour. The Z131 plant also specialises in the production of fragmentation and grenade launcher grenades, which allows the drones to be manufactured and equipped with warheads directly at the same facility.
