Google Pixel 10: what to expect from cameras in new models

New details have emerged about the cameras in the Google Pixel 10 series, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. Although the main Pixel has received several updates, these improvements did not affect the Pro and Fold versions.
Here's What We Know
Renders of the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL showed that the design of these models has hardly changed compared to previous generations. However, the standard Pixel 10 now has a third camera, which is usually considered a telephoto lens. Thanks to information from Android Authority, we managed to learn more about the sensors in the series.
Pixel 10 cameras:
- Wide-angle (50 MP, Samsung GN8, 1/1.95")
- Ultra-wide-angle (13 MP, Sony IMX712, 1/3.1")
- Telephoto lens (11 MP, Sony 3J1, 1/3")
- Selfie (11 MP, Sony 3J1, 1/3")
Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL cameras:
- Wide-angle (50 MP, Samsung GNV, 1/31")
- Ultra-wide-angle (48 MP, Sony IMX858, 1/2.55")
- Telephoto lens (48 MP, Sony IMX858, 1/2.55")
- Selfie (48 MP, Sony IMX858, 1/2.55")
Pixel 10 Pro Fold cameras:
- Wide-angle (50 MP, Samsung GN8)
- Ultra-wide-angle (12 MP, Sony 3J1)
- Telephoto lens (12 MP, Sony 3J1)
- Front (11 MP, Sony 3K1)
This time, the Pixel 10 is significantly different from the Pro and Pro XL models. It has three cameras, which are different from the older models. Google has decided to keep the front and rear camera hardware from the previous generation, which is likely to reduce costs.
The main processor is the new Tensor G5, which promises power but is not yet ready to compete with Qualcomm and MediaTek. However, the main feature of the Pixel 10 will remain AI photos.
