Apple releases iOS 14.7: MagSafe Battery support for iPhone 12, slightly updated Podcasts app, and Apple Card Family
Apple, after several months of testing, announced the stable version of iOS 14.7.
What's new
The developers have added small but useful changes to the system. For example, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max now support the newly released MagSafe Battery accessory. In addition, iOS 14.7 introduced the Apple Card Family feature, which allows family members to use one common account. Naturally, such an opportunity is available in those countries where there is a corporate card of the company.
Also in the new update, Apple developers added to the Home application the function of controlling the timer through the HomePod column, and in the Weather and Maps applications information about air quality in Spain, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, France and South Korea. In iOS 14.7, the Podcasts app has been slightly updated, bug fixes and performance improvements.
When to expect
The iOS 14.7 update weighs just under 1GB and has already begun rolling out over the air to all supported devices.
