Netflix plans to add games to its branded service

Recently, there were rumors on the network that Netflix will add games to the branded service. The company has now officially confirmed this.

Netflix executives said this in a letter to investors with its second-quarter 2021 report. The company said that it plans to develop games along with movies and TV series. In the beginning this will be small games for smartphones and tablets. By the way, you will not have to pay extra for the game content. It will be included in the basic subscription.

Games will be included with Netflix subscription at no additional cost, like movies and TV shows. Initially, we will focus mainly on mobile games.

Unfortunately, there is no information yet when exactly the games will be added. It is also unknown whether the game content will be located in the same place with films and TV series, or for this the company will create a separate application.
