New technology will allow Apple to do away with "bangs" in the iPhone 14 Pro
Next year, Apple may introduce flagship smartphones iPhone 14 without the "bangs," which are present in all models of the manufacturer since 2016, except the iPhone SE.
What is known
Announced in the fall of 2016 iPhone X became the first Apple smartphone with a "monobrow". After that, all manufacturers began to copy this design. But if in Android models the wide "bangs" turned into a drop neckline, and then evolved into a small hole, then Apple all this time has not abandoned the "monobrow". Only in the iPhone 13 family, its size was slightly reduced.
Nevertheless, next year the manufacturer will be able to abandon the cutout. Instead, it will use the usual hole, as in most Android smartphones. Largan CEO Lin Enping hints at this. According to him, the company has created a new design for the iPhone 14, which has already been sent to Apple. True, insiders note that only the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max may remain without "bangs".
Head Largan also noted that the developers managed to make a breakthrough in the world of optics. In this regard, in 2022, the smartphone cameras will use 200-megapixel sensors paired with eight-lens lenses.
