ASUS prepares VivoWatch 5 smartwatch, it will get LTE support
It looks like ASUS is planning to return to the smartwatch market.

Insider Mukul Sharma spotted the Taiwanese manufacturer's new smartwatch in the database Bluetooth SIG. According to the documents, they will be called ASUS VivoWatch 5 and will get LTE support. That is, the device will be able to be used without pairing with a smartphone.

Unfortunately, no other details about the gadget are available yet, but we can assume that it will have a round screen, Wear OS, several colors and a GPS module.
By the way, in case you, suddenly, did not know, the last smartwatch ASUS came out in 2019. The model was called VivoWatch SP (cover image).
