Xiaomi is set to release a new system update for the Pad 5 tablet.

We are talking about the biggest MIUI update, which Xiaomi has released the biggest MIUI update ever. The firmware will include improved performance. In addition, developers will work on the interface MIUI for Pad and multitasking features . The tablet will also receive more than 2000 big-screen adapted apps. The firmware should be released by the end of this year.

Recall, Xiaomi Pad 5 debuted in August. The tablet has 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560×1600p, 120 Hz refresh rate, brightness of 500 nits and stylus support. The device runs a Snapdragon 860 chip and is powered by an 8720mAh battery. It supports 33-watt charging. The gadget has two cameras, one 8 MP front and one 13 MP main camera.
