NFT artist Beeple sold at auction for $29,000,000
NFT artist Mike Winkelman (Beeple) acquired for nearly $29 million at Christie's auction. The work is called HUMAN ONE.
It is a sculpture of the height of 2 m. The column is made of mahogany and covered with LED displays. The screens show a man in a silver spacesuit. The sculpture is designed so that viewers can see the man moving through different landscapes.
The work, presented in NFT format, was scheduled to sell for $15 million. But in the end the final bid was $28.985 million.
