Tesla hacker discovers secret 'Elon Mode' to use FSD hands-free

A safety researcher nicknamed greentheonly has discovered a secret setting in Tesla cars that allows the driver to use Autopilot and Full Self-Driving without their hands on the steering wheel.

Here's What We Know

The hacker has dubbed the feature "Elon Mode". It is not intended for the general public and is only available on company-owned cars.

According to the enthusiast, he drove 600 miles in secret mode. The drone required no attention from the driver for the entire journey.

He specified that he was using a company car. Whether "Elon Mode" is present in consumer cars is unknown.
