Food delivery service Uber Eats is developing a chatbot based on artificial intelligence that will offer users recommendations and speed up the ordering process.

The chatbot will ask users about their budget, food preferences, and then help place an order. When Uber plans to launch the tool publicly is unknown.

The feature was first discovered by developer Steve Moser. According to him, information about the new feature is hidden in the code of the Uber Eats app.

Earlier, the company's CEO Dara Khosrowshahi announced the development of a chatbot with artificial intelligence, but did not share specific details. He noted that Uber already uses AI to match customers with drivers and couriers.
