LG unveiled a huge wireless Signature OLED M3 monitor with 4K@120FPS support "over the air"
At CES 2023, LG debuted a huge wireless monitor. The South Korean manufacturer called it the Signature OLED M3.
Here's What We Know
The company claims that the new product is the world's first Zero Connect monitor. This technology provides wireless transmission of video and audio. LG's idea is to minimize the number of wires. Although now you have to look for a place to install the "system unit".
As you have understood, Signature OLED M3 consists of two key components: the 97" 4K UHD TV itself and the external unit that transmits the image "through the air". Gaming consoles can be connected to the box. For this entire system to work, the distance between the box and the panel needs to be no more than 9 meters.
And yes, the company could not do without wires completely. One wire provides power "system unit", but the manufacturer tried to hide it in the leg of the stand.
Signature OLED M3 supports 4K ULTRA HD video resolution with frame rates up to 120 Hz. Journalists Engadget, who attended the event at CES 2023, confirmed LG's information about the lack of interference if people or pets walk between the unit and the TV.
LG Signature OLED M3 price and launch date are not specified.
