DJI Mini 2 SE - OcuSync 2.0, 31 minutes flight time, 2.7K video support and 249g starting from $369
DJI has announced a quadcopter weighing 249g, called the DJI Mini 2 SE. The drone is available not only in China, but also in other countries, including the US, the UK and EU states.
Here's What We Know
DJI Mini 2 SE came to replace the Mini SE model and is a simplified version of the Mini 2. Weighing less than 250 g, it is not subject to the rules of compulsory registration of drones. But this is a feature of all Mini series UAVs.
The quadcopter supports OcuSync 2.0 technology, DJI O2 Transmission and can transmit high-resolution video up to 10 km away. The maximum flight time on a single charge is 31 minutes. Alas, the DJI Mini 2 SE can only shoot video in 2.7K unlike the regular Mini 2 which supports 4K ULTRA HD.
The drone is equipped with a 12MP camera based on a 1/2.3" CMOS optical sensor. The camera has got tri-axis suspension. There are QuickShots and Panorama functions. According to the manufacturer, the quadcopter can hover in the air and shoot video if the wind speed does not exceed 10 m/s, which corresponds to the fifth level of wind resistance.
Price & When We Can Expect It
DJI Mavic 2 SE will go on sale on March 22, 2023. The quadcopter is priced at $369 / €389 / £339 / ¥2388. The Fly More Combo kit with extra batteries and propellers costs $519 / €529 / £459 / ¥3188.
