Lenovo has unveiled the $3,000 ThinkVision 27 3D monitor that doesn't require 3D glasses to use

Lenovo at IFA 2023 in Berlin announced a 3D monitor that doesn't require glasses. The model is called Lenovo ThinkVision 27 3D.

Here's What We Know

The monitor has received gaze tracking technology. The device can display two images - one for each eye. Due to the different perspective, the effect of the depth of the picture is achieved.

It is important to note that the effect depends on the position of the user's head. According to the manufacturer, in order to see a three-dimensional image, a person should be at a distance of 60-100 cm from the monitor. If we talk about the width, the 3D picture extends to the sides by 40 cm.

The resolution of the image is 1920 x 2160 pixels per eye, and the frame rate is 30 Hz. If you switch off the effect, we are faced with a regular 4K ULTRA HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) monitor with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Lenovo ThinkVision 27 3D has been priced at $3000. The monitor will go on sale in January 2024.
