vivo announced BlueOS operating system based on Rust programming language for ubiquitous AI adoption
Vivo has also got its own operating system. It was announced together with OriginOS 4 software and is called BlueOS.
Here's What We Know
The Chinese company claims that the new operating system will ensure the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. The software is written in the Rust programming language. Developers explain this by the desire to protect against major security vulnerabilities that relate to memory.
BlueOS can work on devices even with modest hardware. In particular, support for 32MB to 24GB of RAM and processors from 0.2GHz to 4GHz is announced. Performance will increase by 61% and video memory consumption will be reduced by 67%. However, it's unclear what the comparison is being made.
What BlueOS represents, it is difficult to say for now. The company vivo promises to release an update soon, and the first to try out the new operating system will be owners of smartwatches vivo Watch 3.
