Anura MagicMirror: a smart mirror that can tell you about your blood pressure, skin condition and assess your risk of disease

NuraLogix presented at CES 2024 an interesting development - Anura MagicMirror smart mirror, which is able to assess the state of health and risks of various diseases.

Here's What We Know

The mirror is equipped with a 21.5-inch screen and numerous sensors that analyse the pattern of blood vessels and veins on a person's face. All you have to do is sit in front of the screen, follow the prompts and be still for 30 seconds. The system will scan your face and send the data to the cloud where it is analysed. Machine learning algorithms analyse the data to determine more than 100 health parameters.

For example, Anura MagicMirror can provide information on blood pressure, body mass index, heart rate, pulse, respiratory rate, determine age by skin condition, and assess the risk of diseases. For example, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, fatty liver disease, etc.

The manufacturer emphasises that this is not a medical device, although the company has submitted the MagicMirror technology to the US Food and Drug Administration to test some health indicators.

The mirror won't be sold for home use - at least not anytime soon. The gadgets are planned to be installed in gyms, clinics, businesses and other places where people can monitor their health.
