Like the Pro models: iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus get a 48 MP main camera

Apple put a 48 MP camera in the Pro model of the iPhone last year. This year, it looks like the basic versions of the smartphones will get it as well.

According to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, like the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, will also feature a 48-megapixel primary camera. It will use three stacks and will be able to capture more light. This will improve the quality of the images.

Apart from the upgraded camera, the new products will also get a new proprietary processor, USB-C charging port and up to 8GB of RAM.

When We Can Expect It

As usual, the release of the new iPhone models should take place in the fall.
