Huawei Mate 60 first revealed in real photos - the flagship could get 5G and Dynamic Island support
The Huawei Mate 60 is one of the upcoming flagship smartphones from Huawei. It was recently spotted for the first time in real photos.
Here's What We Know
The pictures were published on Chinese social networking site Weibo. Judging by the photos, the Huawei Mate 60 will get a large main camera unit and a two-tone back panel. Probably, the lower part of the cover will be made of metal, and the upper part will be made of glass.
On the camera pad, we can see three holes where the optical modules will be installed. And one of the holes has a square shape, thus hinting that the smartphone will get a telephoto lens with periscopic optics.
Huawei Mate 60 will have a 120Hz OLED display with 1220p resolution and ToF sensors. It is not excluded that the smartphone will have an analogue of Dynamic Island. This feature appeared in the new version of the HarmonyOS operating system.
There were also rumours that Huawei is working with SMIC to develop a chipset with support for 5G networks. Perhaps the processor will debut exactly in the Mate 60. The presentation of the next-generation flagship is expected in autumn.
