South Korean publication The Elec, citing unnamed sources, reports that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the company's first smartphone with a titanium frame.
Most likely, while the titanium edges will not get all models of the line, but only the top Galaxy S24 Ultra, as the manufacturer has set a preliminary goal to produce at the initial stage of 15 million titanium frames. And this number corresponds to the sales of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
It is reported that Samsung started working on the introduction of titanium in its smartphones about 2 years ago, but the final decision has been made only now.
The Galaxy S24 flagship series is rumoured to debut on January 17.
