Farewell: Disney has removed its Russian sites, social media and videos from children's YouTube channels

Disney started to actively delete its websites with Russian domain, videos from its Russian YouTube channels and social media accounts such as "disney.ru". They just disappeared.

Here's What We Know

When you try to open the sites disney.ru and channel.disney.ru, you are automatically redirected to disney.com. Also, Russia is no longer mentioned in the lists of local Disney branches. And Russian Disney accounts on VK, Twitter and Instagram have been deleted. The only thing we managed to find on Twitter is the Russian account "Disney Baby Russia", but the page has not been updated since February 23.

Russian channel "Star Wars Russia" on YouTube is now impossible to find, and on the channels : "Animated series", "Good morning with Mickey" and "Short animation" all videos have been removed.

In March, at the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Disney Warner Bros, Disney and Sony stop releases of films in Russian cinemas due to the invasion of Ukraine. First, the company stopped showing its films in Russian cinemas, but the Disney channel is still available in Russia. But now its closure is a matter of time.
