Shure introduces the first wireless lavalier microphone with no additional hardware

Shure has launched the new MoveMic wireless lavalier microphone, which can be connected directly to your phone without the need for a receiver. The new line of microphones features a stylish design and great functionality.

Here's What We Know

In order to record with other apps or connect to cameras and computers, you need a special receiver, which can be purchased separately or together with the microphone. The MoveMic is very lightweight at just 8.2 grams and is IPX4 rated for protection against moisture.

While these new Shure microphones are not the cheapest on the market, they are eye-catching for their sound quality and stylish design. The MoveMic is available in a single-channel model, the MoveMic One, for $249 and a dual-channel model, the MoveMic Two, for $349. A kit with two microphones and a receiver costs US$499.
