Ubisoft has announced a new competitive shooter BattleCore Arena and is inviting gamers to technical testing
Ubisoft publishing house does not leave its attempts to get a firm foothold in the game-service market, even though the trend for such projects is gradually decreasing.
The French developer has already tried to release several such games, but did not achieve the desired success and is making another attempt.
Here's What We Know
The company presented a free competitive shooter BattleCore Arena and invited fans to test it.
It will be a 7+ age-rated service game where the key to victory is to conquer gravity.
Ubisoft hasn't shown gameplay footage yet, as BattleCore Arena is in the early stages of development, so we can't say anything concrete about the game. The annotation under the video says that it will be a shooter with platformer elements, but judging by the video, the project is closer to sports games like Knockout City from Electronic Arts.
Ubisoft invites everyone interested to take part in BattleCore Arena technical testing, which will be held from 1 to 5 February. Entry is open on the developer's official website and is available via Steam or Ubisoft Connect.
