On the eve of the biggest gaming show gamescom 2023 there is interesting news for fans of the famous Tomb Raider franchise.
Here's What We Know
About the fact that there is a new part of Tomb Raider in development, the studio Crystal Dynamics reported back in early 2022. Then the developers limited themselves to mentioning that the game is created on Unreal Engine 5, but earlier this year insiders reported that the full announcement of the next action-adventure about Lara Croft will take place in 2023.
And now, a day before gamescom, gamers have noticed that the Tomb Raider website has undergone updates. On its main page there is a call: "Become a Tomb Raider!". Gamers are encouraged to sign up for the newsletter so that they don't miss out on some important news about the game.
We can't say that the announcement of the new Tomb Raider game will be made at the opening ceremony of gamescom 2023, but the chances of it are quite high.
