Dataminers found hints in Hearthstone files about the card game's release on Steam
Recently, more and more Activision Blizzard games have been released on Steam. Obviously, this is a consequence of the company's merger with Microsoft.
It seems that this trend is only gaining momentum.
Here's What We Know
The next Activision Blizzard project available on Steam could be the popular card game Hearthstone.
Dataminers found in the files of Hearthstone hints about the release of the game on Steam. In particular, they found a description of a bug specific to the Valve shop, a mention of achievement synchronisation with Steam, a button to switch to the Valve platform and code related to Steam prices.
In addition, the datamayners also found a possible UI element designed to synchronise Steam and Battle.net accounts.
It is surprising that the corresponding announcement was not heard at BlizzCon 2023, where, in particular, attention was paid to Hearthstone support.
